My wife and I have spent the $ 2 - $ 4 per flag at different races to get a plastic checkered flag for my boys to wave.  By the time we got home they were ripped, stick broken or just didn't last very long.  My boys have begged and pleaded over the years for a complete set of flags.  We have looked and looked, but either the price was WAY too much or we couldn't find them.  We decided this was the year to make a nice set of flags for each of our boys.  Then my sister joined in and wanted sets for her girls.  We took the sets with us to the races and had children gathering around us wanting to share the flags with my boys.  That's when we decided we should share the fun and save other parents the headache we had.

So, here is the set of FLAGS that everyone should have!!!!

• Each flag measures 11" x 10" 
• Each stick is 16" long so the flags are easy to hold and waive.  They are the perfect length to comfortably fit an adult hand, but when the children waive the flags they don't hit others in the head.
• The stick is 6" long from the bottom of the flag (hand holding room)
• They are 2 sided (what you see on one side, you see on the other)
• Each flag is made from a light weight Broad Cloth that allows the flags to waive very easy.  My boys love to pull the flag down by the stick like the flag man to get ready to waive it and the flags work just like the flagman's.
• The sewing on these flags is very detailed and the thread matches the colors of the flags.  They are made very well.
• The flags slide onto the stick.  You can staple the flags or glue the flags onto the stick if you would like.  We have chosen to slide them on and off so that we can wash the flags.
• The sticks are very sturdy.  The stick is 5/16" thick.
